Guitarist Dave Black and saxophonist Paul DeMarinis leave the halls of the jazz studies department at Webster University to join forces on the Bistro stage.
Black has shared the stage with artists including Fareed Haque, Richard “Groove” Holmes, and Bucky Pizzarelli. He has also written for numerous Mel Bay publications and is consistently in the running for St. Louis’s best jazz musician in the RFT Music Awards.
DeMarinis is well known as a performer, adjudicator, and clinician across the United States, the Far East, and Europe. He has performed with both the St. Louis Symphony and numerous jazz artists like Dave Liebman and Bobby Shew.
