Jeremy Davenport infuses his unique style of storytelling with his original lyrics and music, creating not only a modern edge, but also a feeling reminiscent of the time when jazz was at its peak of popularity. A St. Louis native, Davenport was born into a family of musicians. His mother has been a music educator for nearly 50 years and his father recently retired, after 40 years, from the St. Louis Symphony. From a young age, he studied and played with members and guests of the Symphony, which included an early introduction to jazz great Wynton Marsalis. He eventually went on to play with Harry Connick, Jr.’s big band for six years. Davenport now tours the world and plays regularly in New Orleans.

Love Jeremy we have seen him many times in St. Louis at the Bistro and at Bushs Gardens and also at the Ritz in New Orleans and he is always great. I would love to see him in St Louis for my husbands and my 20th year anniversary Nov 29th. Love him and Erin Bode of St Louis they are great.
