Reggie & Mardra Thomas

One of the most in demand pianists and educators in the country, Reggie Thomas’s soulful, hard-swinging brand of piano immediately grabs an audience and assures them that a swinging time is set to be had by all.

After nearly twenty years as a professor at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Thomas accepted a position at Michigan State University, which began last fall. Now, Thomas returns to St. Louis and the Jazz at the Bistro stage with his wife and vocalist Mardra Thomas for two great nights of jazz!

    Dear Miles,
I loved your drumming. Reggie and Madra were just great. Thank you all for your prayers and love. Over flowing love.
I had the Jazz Poems book to give to you Miles and I thought you might have liked to make a going away gift of it to your friend Reggie. I couldn’t find you though and so I just gave it to Reggie; was wondering if you got to see it and if Reggie liked it. There were poems for Miles, Charlie Parker and many others. Really cool…snap snap. Bless you Suzette
