With the summer season upon us, Jazz at the Bistro continues its summer programming this year with a great lineup of artists that have become Bistro favorites over the years.
With the rescheduling of Terence Blanchard’s shows to June 3-6, 2009, we are pleased to debut Javier Mendoza’s new Latin jazz project at the Bistro on Friday and Saturday, May 29th & 30th. Tickets for these performances are on sale now at all Metrotix locations or by calling the Jazz St. Louis box office at (314)289-4030.
Return engagements by Musica Slesa, the Funky Butt Brass Band, Jim Manley and Good 4 The Soul will keep the Bistro full of swing and soul all summer. Add to that special engagements by Adaron “Pops” Jackson’s new acoustic group, the pairing of OGD & Willie Akins and a debut from the Monterey Jazz Festvial’s Next Generation Jazz Orchestra and this summer promises to be a delight for your ears!
